It appears that Microsoft is planning on a new project called “Tulalip” and all are confirming it as social search/networking site. The word ‘Tulalip’ is an Indian tribe located just north of Seattle. It offers a welcome note saying, “find what you need and share what you know”.
There is a non-responding search box at the top of the page. There are also Facebook and Twitter sign-in buttons; in fact, these pages confirm further that Tulalip is an experimental application from Microsoft.
Twitter says that users will also be able to update their profile, can post tweets for themselves and other things so you can say it is operating as a social networking tool.
After following few reports, we came to know that Microsoft has shut down the site and has placed a page saying that it didn’t intend to make this site reside and also didn’t told anyone about the working of this site. There is one more note and that on socl.com saying, “thanks for stopping by.”
What do you think of this Facebook and Google+ Killer project “Tulalip”. Do share your thoughts with us, via the comments section below.
